River Rock Grill

I really wanted to like River Rock Grill. I've eaten breakfast and lunch in the last week. The food is utterly forgettable. I like diner food. I have no problem eating the same thing every day. It's not just predictable, the meals were just meh. If the service was good, the food quality could be overlooked. But, neither server showed any indication of having been trained. There's a lot more to it than taking orders and delivering food. This makes me think there's a management problem. 🤷 Disappointing. I'll go back in a year or so and give it another try, 'cause I still want to like this place!

Food and atmosphere were decent but it was the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Had to flag someone down to order food/drinks and the staff was rude or didn’t say anything. People who came in 30 min after us got their food before we were even able to order. Would not recommend because it felt very uncomfortable to be there.

Food, drinks, service and atmosphere was all good. They sold out of the R & R Mixed but I got a Steak Salad, artichoke dip ($17 kind of pricey) and a glass of wine and husband got the Seafood Mix with Ice Tea total $89 I will be returning. Make a reservation!

Very cozy and romantic atmosphere. The bigger was well done and the seafood plate was spot on. The brownie ice cream was not good. I was trying to find something like thunder under from outback

I only recently discovered they are now open for breakfast at 8:00. Previously at 11:00. Today my country fried steak was very good but not great. The lunch and dinner menu has truly great entree items. Breakfast is lagging behind. Breakfast entrees all come with breakfast potatoes, meh they are okay. The rest of the breakfast items are much better. If they offered hash browns I would frequent more often.
